DTG, "Direct to Garment," is a textile printing technique. In contrast to conventional textile printing techniques like heat transfer or dye sublimation, the DTG printing process employs specialised ink to print directly onto the garment using a DTG printer. After absorbing the ink, the fabric fibres become part of the garment. Thanks to this technology, prints on clothing may now be made that don't peel, break, or otherwise deform.
Since we primarily print on T-shirts, we often employ water-based pigment inks for DTG printing. Water serves as the pigment's main solvent in water-based inks. They are composed of polyurethane and acrylic resin blends or acrylic raisins. Because water-based inks are composed of soft polymers and water, they give a soft print and deeply penetrate the fabric.

The ability of these inks to produce intricate and colourful graphics without sacrificing the comfort and softness of the cloth makes them appealing and well-liked. Water-based inks are also perfect for printing intricate designs with minute details since they provide exceptional colour saturation and accuracy.
In addition to water-based pigment inks, we use a variety of other kinds of digital textile pigment inks for DTG printing. These consist of sublimation, acid, and reactive inks. Every variety has distinct qualities and works well with various textiles and printing techniques.
