Bravo Inks

DTF Ink

A type of ink called DTF is used in direct-to-film printing, a printing method that is different from conventional DTG printing. A polymer in DTF ink helps the ink stick to the transfer film; it is made especially for DTF printing. Pigments or dyes, resin, and other components make up DTF ink; the precise ingredients may vary based on the producer and the ink's composition. The water-based DTF ink is designed to work with the DX5, DX7, xp600, 4720.

Benefits of

DTF Inks

Durability

Compared to other printing techniques, DTF transfer prints are far more resilient. They look great, are long-lasting, and have superb colour accuracy and detail.

Versatility

DTF transfers can be printed on a broad range of material compositions and in any colour. Because of this, it's a fantastic choice for printing on a range of materials

Low Production

Based on the size of the task, DTF printing can save manufacturing time and expense. The cost of DTF ink is also lower than that of DTG printing supplies.

How It Works

Which Ink is Used in DTF ?

Various ink types are used for DTF printing, depending on the task. For DTF printing, pigment, sublimation, and solvent-based inks are frequently employed. Direct-to-film transfers can be accomplished using a DTG or DTF printer and DTF ink.

A Specialised Ink for DTF

Specialised ink is required for DTF printing. Regular ink can be used for DTF printing, however, it is not recommended because it may not deliver the same quality or durability as specialised DTF ink. DTF ink is designed to work with DTF printers and printheads, and it has distinct qualities that make it ideal for printing on DTF film. The producer and product determine whether DTF ink is water-based, pigment-based, sublimation-based, or solvent-based.

Viscosity Of DTF

Flexibility For Fabric Movement

DTF (Direct to Film) inks are distinguished by their flexibility and resistance to cracking during fabric movement. When correctly applied and cared for, DTF prints are highly resistant to cracking, and their flexibility allows them to move and stretch with the fabric, ensuring longevity and integrity during wear and movement.
